ARTICLE 1 - WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE PROFESSIONAL
The craftsman carries the necessary tools.
A complete and skilled job performance.
Laying of laminate including underlayment.
Installation of high and/or low skirting boards.
Install expansion profiles or expansion joints under the doorway.
Clean up trash in bags so you can easily dispose of it.
ARTICLE 2 - WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
All materials (laminate, subfloor, foil, expansion joints / expansion profiles and baseboards) are sufficiently present on laying date and the floor has acclimated to room temperature for at least 48 hours. With laminate, subfloor and skirting boards, allow for 10% cutting loss.
Presence of sufficient moisture-resistant plastic sheeting, if the laminate will be laid on a concrete subfloor. A concrete floor can be damp. Moisture may cause bulging to a laminate floor.
The room is empty, broom clean and the old floor is completely removed on the laying date.
De vloer is op de legdatum voldoende vlak. De ondergrond is voldoende vlak als er geen oneffenheden van meer dan 2 mm over een lengte van 1 meter zijn. Dit is te meten door een 1-meter lat plat op de vloer te leggen. Bij de ondergrond met 2mm oneffenheden neem je een minimaal 5 mm dikke ondervloer.

ARTICLE 3 - WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED AS STANDARD
If applicable, you will be charged for parking, materials and additional work. Discuss additional work options with the professional.
Additional work must be paid in accordance with the applicable (hourly) rate, which is shown during booking. Additional work charges apply to the following work, among others:
Shortening doors;
Kitchen baseboard shortening;
Oude vloer verwijderen;
Afval afvoeren.
Our craftsmen are versatile professionals with a wide range of skills and experience. For other additional work, such as leveling floor, you can consult with the professional.
All fees must be paid immediately upon completion. When the job is completed, you will receive the invoice by e-mail and SMS. You can then pay via iDEAL or bank transfer.
We have set up our website and service so that you, the client, can easily outsource laminate jobs to good business service providers. We act as an intermediary between you and the service provider. We screen all service providers and do our best to admit only experienced and reliable service providers to our website. This way, you can do business with good service providers effortlessly and without worry.
ARTICLE 1 - DEFINITIONS
Klusup: our trade name. Registered under KvK number 57214999 and located at Joan Muyskenweg 110, 1114 AN in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht. (Web) site: www.klusup.nl is the environment where you can quickly get laminate jobs done. Client: you, the natural or legal person, who outsources jobs to a service provider via Klusup.
Service provider: a legal entity not registered and screened by Klusup as an employee ( = flooring specialists and handymen) who performs laminate jobs at your request.

Service provider: a legal entity not registered and screened by Klusup as an employee ( = flooring specialists and handymen) who performs laminate jobs at your request.
Chores: laminate jobs around the house.
Boekingsverzoek: jouw verzoek tot het laten uitvoeren van laminaatklussen door dienstverleners op onze website.
Job agreement: the agreement, which is established between the client and a service provider for the performance of a job.
ARTICLE 2 - USE
If you outsource jobs to a service provider through our website or service, you accept and exclusively apply these general terms and conditions principals.
When using our website or service, you provide accurate and complete information about your identity, address, phone number and e-mail.
ARTICLE 3 - FORMATION OF JOB AGREEMENT
When you book a service provider through the site, app or phone, you are making a legally valid booking request to enter into a job contract. You are responsible for the information provided on your booking request.
You will receive an acknowledgement booking request receipt by email. Please note that this is not yet an acceptance of the booking request.
After selecting the service provider, the service provider or we accept your booking request on behalf of the service provider. We will send you by email and text message the final job confirmation with the service provider's details. The job agreement is now established between you and the service provider. We are not the executing party and therefore not responsible for the actions or omissions of you or the service provider in any form.
We do our best to find a service provider for the date and time you have submitted. Sometimes this is not possible, for example due to busy times, we will inform you with an alternative date. You can then choose whether you want to use this or not.
Klusup is an intermediary and not part of the job agreement between you and the service provider. We always do our best to make sure that the relationship between you and the service provider runs smoothly. The fact that the service provider uses Klusup's billing systems does not yet make Klusup part of the job agreement.
ARTICLE 4 - SERVICE PROVIDER
Business service providers (flooring specialists and handymen) provide various floor specialty jobs under the "Contracting Agreement.
All service providers who perform jobs through Klusup have been pre-screened by us. We have spoken to each service provider personally and do our best to only allow experienced and reliable service providers on our platform. However, we cannot give a 100% guarantee. After the job is done, we therefore ask for your review. Your opinion counts whether the service provider can continue to do jobs through our platform.
ARTICLE 5 - EXECUTION AND DELIVERY JOB
The service provider performs work at his own expense and risk. Klusup does not tell the service provider how to perform work. The service provider performs the job according to your wishes.
Are you not satisfied with the execution or the expected result? Tell the service provider right away; after all, you are paying for it. This way, the service provider can immediately change the execution or repair the defect. Do you disagree? Then stop the work and contact us. We will do everything we can to make you happy.
Do the final inspection after the job is done. Then sign off the work order and use it to approve the completion and/or any calculated extra work.
Defects found upon delivery shall be repaired by the service provider as soon as possible.
ARTICLE 6 - MORE AND LESS WORK
If during the chores it becomes apparent that it is necessary to change or add to the work to be done, the service provider will discuss this with you. Both necessary and additional work at your request should be recorded on the work order. Therefore, discuss your job requirements at the outset, so the service provider knows exactly what your expectations are.
Additional work shall be paid in accordance with the applicable (hourly) rate.
ARTICLE 7 - PAYMENT
Except for additional work not disclosed in advance, payment for the booking must already be made to Klusup before job start.
Payments are received in a foundation trust account. The service provider's earnings are released only after the job is properly completed.
Payment must be made exclusively through us. You are only entitled to warranty, support and mediation by Klusup if the invoice is paid to us. Also when you have (part of) work done outside Klusup, you lose the right to warranty through Klusup.
The person who makes the application to us is considered by us to be the client and is therefore responsible for timely payment.
ARTICLE 8 - WARRANTY
In addition to the legal warranty, you also have warranty through us in case of defects on the work performed.
Warranty applies to defects that you could not reasonably have seen during the final inspection, such as bulging of the laminate, loosening baseboards and gaps on the face side of the laminate.
You give the performing service provider the opportunity to actually perform the warranty. If the service provider indicates they cannot properly perform the repairs, we will do our best to find a replacement to perform the repairs for you at no cost.
You had the whole job done through Klusup.
You made full payment through Klusup.
We use the following warranty periods:
bulge of laminate 1 year;
gaps on the face side of the laminate 1 month.
Er is geen garantie voor o.a. de volgende situaties:
als vakman en klant, om wat voor reden dan ook, expliciet met elkaar hebben afgesproken dat de vloer wordt gelegd voor risico en rekening van klant;
als het een fabricagefout betreft, denk bijvoorbeeld een loslatende toplaag;
als het gebrek is veroorzaakt door vocht;
if the laminate is laid without expansion or expansion profiles under the door frames. This is because expansion or expansion profiles prevent laminate bulging due to differences in temperature or pressure on the laminate in different rooms.
ARTICLE 9 - DAMAGES
The service provider is the executing party and responsible for performing the job. Should you experience any damage due to his actions or omissions, you can sue him directly. You can hold the professional liable up to the coverage amount of his liability insurance. He is only responsible for direct damages. Consequential damages are excluded from compensation.
ARTICLE 10 - OBJECTIONS AND REVOCATIONS
When you book a service provider through Klusup, you enter into a distance contract. This means that you, the client, can dissolve the agreement you have entered into with the service provider without giving reasons within 14 days of receiving the final confirmation, free of charge.
As the client, you cannot rescind the contract free of charge if:
a. The job has already been fully completed within the consideration period.
b. It is an urgent booking. Under urgent, the job is done today or tomorrow (within 48 hours).
c. Cancellation of a regular booking less than 48 hours before the start is notified.
Due to loss of income, you will be charged 35% of the booking amount (with a minimum of €75) if you cancel a final rush booking or a final regular booking less than 48 hours before job start time.
Due to loss of income, you will be charged 100% of the booking amount if you cancel on the execution date or if the professional is faced with a closed door.
We will charge you an additional €75 if you reschedule your job appointment less than 48 hours before the start time.
In case of damaged or late delivered products by IKEA, you can reschedule or cancel the booking free of charge up to 24 hours before job start. We ask you to prove this with an email from IKEA.
In the receipt confirmation email of your booking, there is a cancellation link under the heading "Cancel". You can cancel your booking here with a few clicks. Cancel can only be done through this link, as a timely cancellation cannot be guaranteed through other channels.
ARTICLE 11 - ASSESSMENTS
Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to write a review. We assume that you do this honestly and neatly. If in doubt, we may not allow the review.
ARTICLE 12 - INFORMATION AND USE OF DATA
You probably understand that we provide your name and contact information to the service provider. The service provider uses this data only to perform the job.
We are not liable for unclear information or obvious misstatements, regardless of from whom the information originated.
ARTICLE 13 - COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
These general terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.

We are continuously improving our services. As a result, our general terms and conditions may change. If we make any future changes to these terms and conditions, you will always find them on our site.
ARTICLE 15 - ACCOUNT TERMINATION
You can always update or delete your account with us.
We can delete or restrict your account without consequence.
